Why is Utah great for an elopement?

Utah’s rugged landscape has some striking desert views, with vibrant red and orange rock formations that look amazing against a wedding dress. Its many national parks feature canyons, arches and overlooks that make amazing wedding photos. Couples who want to connect with our nation’s pioneering history will really love Utah’s American West vibes, and with activities including helicopter tours, horseback rides, off-road driving and water activities, Utah is fitting for eloping couples with a sense of adventure.

Utah has a desert climate, meaning that some areas see very little rainfall and you can almost guarantee a dry day for an outdoor wedding. However, it does have extreme temperatures with very hot summers and exceptionally cold winters well below freezing. For that reason, many couples choose springtime weddings in Utah, when the weather is warming up but not yet at its summer heights.
